Today Pinkston hosted its annual American Graffiti Day with 7th grade students. Students participated in several 60s related activities which included a concert by the Choir & Band, a car show, and various competitions.
Today would not have been possible without the help of various community partners, Mountain Home PTO, PMS Choir, PMS Band, local car owners, MHHS Dance Team, MHPS Administration, MHPS School Board, and Pinkston Faculty and Staff. Thank you so much for helping make today memorable for the students.

Students in 7th grade FCSI have been learning different techniques for dealing with stress, anger, sadness, fear, and anxiety. Here they are practicing yoga and sensory meditation as a way to relieve stress and aid sleep.
Earlier this month, LeeAnn Blevins from the Baxter County Extension office came to Pinkston to help students make homemade strawberry freezer jam, homemade butter, and pancakes!

Unfortunately we have had to cancel tonight's homecoming parade due to inclement weather. We will have a mini-parade on campus for JH and HS students on Friday afternoon before the pep rally.
An area outage (power and phones) is impacting some of our school buildings. Our phones are not currently operational. We do not have a timeline on the restoration of service, but we wanted our families to know what we know.
Bus 52 is running at least 30 minutes late. We had a mechanical issue and had to send out a new bus.
This week's Bomber Update is a homecoming preview featuring some awesome student council officers: https://youtu.be/Z_7RHOTqfrY
Bus 43 is running about 15 minutes behind.
Tonight's Board of Education Meeting will be live streamed. The Board will receive an update on last Friday's meeting with the state's facilities division regarding the high school campus. Meeting begins at 5:30.
