A couple of weeks ago, some students were working on making dog toys. This week some of those dog toys are going to be used in an EAST project at the Mountain Home dog park. We are so glad they can utilize them. Some other dog toys will be donated to various dog outreach programs around our area.

**Family and Consumer Sciences Update from Pinkston Middle School**
In 7th grade FCSI this week, students created posters to hang around Pinkston, encouraging students to be "friends not foes" and to speak out against bullies.
In 6th grade Ready for Life, students interviewed another classmate as if the classmate was looking back on his/her accomplishments on his/her 100th birthday. Students gained valuable insight about their own hopes and dreams (what they hope to become, what they hope to accomplish, how they hope others will see them or what they will say about them). They had to present in front of the class like a real reporter. Some really enjoyed the role playing. It was fun to watch.
