Arctic temperatures are headed our way!

Pinkston 7th graders have been learning about electric circuits! Students were able to get some hands-on practice thanks to the generous donation of 15 circuit kits from our friends at NAEC! Thank you North Arkansas Electric Co-op for supporting our kids!

Thursday, February 15 is our Empty Bowls to Feed The Hungry event! This much-anticipated evening always draws a crowd, so get there at 4 p.m. if you want your pick of the amazing student artwork! $10 per ticket -- soup, dessert, and a drink.
Email Christy Lawrence at MHHS at clawrence@mhbombers.com if you have questions!

Along with this week's video, we have attached Mrs. Dewey's notes about inclement weather procedures! Stay warm, Bombers!

The high school FCCLA officers and middle school FCCLA attended the FCCLA Fall Leadership Conference Thursday. There were FCCLA organizations from the three regions in northern Arkansas. Shelby Sisney, high school FCCLA co- president, served as our voting delegate in the district and state election process. MHHS FCCLA had a great day with the Pinkston Middle School FCCLA Chapter.

Update: Track Striping has been moved up to today through Friday due to the possibility of weather impacts later in the week.

Cafeteria Corner:
It's not too late to turn in applications for free and reduced lunches! Online is the best option (EZmealapp.com) You may also setup a payment through (EZschoolpay.com)
They must be done every year; there is no carry over from one year to the next.
Also if your student qualifies for free/reduced meals, this covers the cost of one meal -- including milk. If your child goes back for a second on anything, it is not covered by the application and will end up going on the child's account.

It's National School Psychology Week, and we can't forget to mention our amazing school psych team: Mr. Matt Sutton, our district's School-Based Mental Health Coordinator, as well as our awesome examiners Mrs. Lashley, Mrs. Baxter, and Mr. O'Brien. Thank you for your hard work!

Thank you to all the Veterans. We appreciate your service.

Today Pinkston hosted its annual American Graffiti Day with 7th grade students. Students participated in several 60s related activities which included a concert by the Choir & Band, a car show, and various competitions.
Today would not have been possible without the help of various community partners, Mountain Home PTO, PMS Choir, PMS Band, local car owners, MHHS Dance Team, MHPS Administration, MHPS School Board, and Pinkston Faculty and Staff. Thank you so much for helping make today memorable for the students.
