We are heartbroken to learn about the tragic passing of several members of a local family — one who was a precious elementary school student at MHPS. We do not have any details related to the matter, but we are holding this family close to our hearts as they navigate the unthinkable.
We have visited with all the families of this child’s classmates and will have lots of counseling support on campus tomorrow. There is no good way to navigate such a sad situation, but our counseling staff and our faculty are all committed to helping our kids.

The District Wellness/School Level Improvement Plan group was honored to have a food presentation by MH Food Service Department. The amazing food display featured the MHHSCA, MHJH and HIS kitchens. Thank you Tom, Roberto and all the food service staff!

On Tuesday, Pinkton students took the Atlas Writing Assessment. All students who were present, on time, and gave their best efforts during the test were entered into a drawing for a $50 gift card. Our 6th grade winner was Kolton Corp, and our 7th grade winner was Kelsey Williams. Good job, Pinkston students!
