Principal's Message

Hello Pinkston family!

It is my pleasure to welcome your family to Pinkston Middle School.  I am very excited to begin my third year as the principal at Pinkston, and I’m dedicated to ensuring that your time with us is one to remember.  Our staff has worked tremendously hard this summer to improve instruction, update standards, advance degrees, and analyze data trends, just to name a few.  I couldn’t be more proud of the work they’ve put in, and I have no doubt that our students will greatly benefit from the hard work and dedication of our staff.

Ensuring student safety is our top priority, now more than ever.  Several of our staff members dedicated their summer to discovering new ways to make Pinkston a safe and nurturing environment for our students.  We've bolstered our Pinkston team with additional staff to address socio-emotional learning, and the expertise they bring is exceptional. The district has also taken steps to enhance safety, including installing new doors, locks, and additional safety measures in critical areas on our campus.

I also want to stress how vital the collaboration between our staff and parents is. We want our teachers to reach out to parents and openly sharing what we experience with our kids.  Likewise, we want you to contact us and tell us what you see from your kids at home.  Together, we can work to address your student's needs.

At Pinkston, our greatest assets are our students, and we are always available to discuss their futures.

Lastly, we believe in the unique value of every student. We are committed to helping each student reach their fullest potential, and we look forward to supporting your students on their academic journey.

Bring on the 2024-2025 school year!
