Pinkston's Annual Pasta Night Fundraiser is Thursday, March 15, 2018, from 5-7pm. Be sure and buy your tickets in advance for the Early Bird Special of $5 per ticket. Tickets at the door will cost $7. Children 5 and under eat free with accompanying adult. This is a family friendly night that will have performances by the Pinkston Band & Choir, Art Work Display by students, Book Fair in the library, incredible Raffle Baskets & this year we are adding door prizes! You may send your money with your student to the Pinkston Library or drop by to buy your tickets yourself during the school day. If you would like to help, there are a few items that we are in need of:
500 Plastic Forks
100 Suger/Sweetner Packets
6 cans of Parmesan Cheese
5 bottles of Ranch Dressing
3 lg bags of Powdered Sugar
Canola Oil (10 large bottles)
8 boxes of Parchment Paper
7th Grade Students:
Applications for FACS (Family and Consumer Science) and MHJH EAST for 8th grade are available in the main office, with Mrs. Cruse, Mrs. Camp and Mrs. Dunavan. All applications for 8th grade FACS and EAST MUST be turned in by Feb. 28th. You can turn them in to the main office, Mrs. Cruse, Mrs. Camp (FACS) or Mrs. Dunavan (EAST). 6th Grade Boys Basketball: We will started having basketball practice for anyone interested in playing basketball as 7th graders Monday, Feb.26- from 3:20 PM to 4:30 PM. The purpose of these practices is to work on the fundamentals and knowledge of the game. The practices will be run by: Coaches: Roddy Patrick, Robin Killian and Tyler Shrum. This will take place in the both gyms at Pinkston; students practicing will come in and can change into their shorts under the bleachers in main gym. You can pick up your son in front of Pinkston at door #24 which is located right outside of the band hall. Please email me if you have any question: email@example.com.

7th GRADE Reading Baseball has been scheduled for May 7th. Students must meet Reading Baseball requirements and have zero office referrals for second semester to be eligible. ACT Aspire testing will be given in the weeks before the trip. If a student misses any testing they may be required to stay at school for make-up tests. So, plan on attending school all days of testing!
MHJH 2018-2019 CHEERLEADING TRYOUTS Will be held March 12th-15th. Pick up your packet in the office beginning Feb 12th. Deadline to submit is March 7th.
AMI(SNOW DAY) ACTIVITIES - Attached are the alternative lessons to be completed in the event of a school day that has to be missed due to inclement weather or some other reason. Updated with new information.
